Raw hardwood logs
Raw hardwood logs are directly purchased from Swiss, German and French woods, which carry the “FSC” certification. The Forest Stewardship Council A.C. is an International non-governative no-profit organization which includes among its members social and environmentalist groups, native communities, consumer associations, woods’ owners, engineers, certifying organizations, industries for the processing and selling of wood and raw hardwood logs: they all cooperate for a better and more sustainable exploitation of wood resources all over the world.
FSC’s task is that of supporting in the whole world (in tropical, temperate and boreal zones) an exploitation of woods and plantations which is eco-compatible, economically sustainable and, at the same time, convenient as far as workers’ and local populations’ rights are concerned.
FSC provides an international registered trade-mark to identify raw hardwood logs products: this is a guarantee that the materials are actually the result of well-managed forests, fully respectful of the International Principles and Criteria of a good forest administration.
Our factory markets a part of these logs too, in particular of Beech but also of other essences such as Ash, Lime, Maple…
