Semi-finished products
Beside shaped products, we are able to produce and sell semi-finished products of various sizes, both in raw and evaporated beech. The raw materials come mainly from East European countries.

Planks
The sawed materials are packed, weighed and progressively numbered; then they are laid in the external courtyard, perfectly fit for a natural seasoning. In fact our company is situated at 400 mt. on sea level, in the vicinity of Lake Idro, where the climatic conditions and the constant ventilPlanksation are the ideal for wood to naturally dry up.
These characteristics are a gift of nature, but the ability to exploit them cleverly and at their best is the consequence of our constant committment and perseverance.
Therefore we can provide trimmed planks with the following peculiarities:

Essence: evaporated Beech – Ash – Oak – Cherry – Maple - / Rough or seasoned

Lengths: Standard from 3,00 - 4,00 – 5,00 metres

Thickness: generally commercial but also on request

Our semi-finished products are mainly destined for Chair industry, but they are also used for Furniture, Ladders, Toys and other various objects.

Trimmed planksTrimmed Planks
Among the numerous machines we possess, we are particularly proud of an automatized trimming machine which allows us to produce trimmed planks of Raw Beech, Evaporated Beech and Ash, in different thickness.
This processing is realized only with seasoned timber, so that the final outcome is a trimmed planks with perfectly parallel sides, without cracks or curves.

Stairs
Stairs
For the stairing sector we provide panels for steps produced in Italy or abroad, in the following dimensions:
Length: 700/800/900/1000/1100/1200 mm
Depth: 650 mm
Thickness: 40/42 mm calibrated.
The goods are consigned on pallets holding 25 panels, well protected with transparent film and cardboard, all held together with plastic strapping.
In addition to the panels we also offer semifinished items for railings in standard trade lengths, dried and selected after drying. Our wood store has a wide assortment of stock and we can make "outsize" items to measure for customers with special requirements.
Finally, we also produce beech cross members, available in various thicknesses and lengths, again dried.
All the products described above are also available in steam treated or untreated beech.

Semifinished items for doors and doorframes
Semifinished items for doors and doorframes

Thanks to the optimum physical characteristics of the raw materials and the care taken during the various processing stages, we can offer excellent semifinished items in ash for the construction of internal and external doors and doorframes.
Together with these boards, which we supply in a huge range of dimensions, we also provide panels with rustication, again for the production of internal and external doors.
Semifinished items for doors and doorframes We can supply the above semifinished items in different dimensions as required, since we have considerable quantities of ash board of thicknesses up to 100 mm.
All this is testified in the documentation issued by the “Catas di S. Giovanni al Natisone”, proving that ash is a wood variety with physical characteristics, like bending and compression resistance, superior to other wood varieties like bay oak and pine, which are normally considered suitable for this type of production.

Matchboard
Matchboard
While our production is mainly intended for joineries (see the products available), we can supply matchboard, mainly in ash, but also in bay oak and chestnut.
Ash was chosen because, compared with chestnut and oak, it also has a very variably shaped tangential grain, which makes it equally attractive. After treatment it also closely resembles the other two wood varieties making it economically very advantageous.
We present this product in our range for attics and flooring, in the latter case the best quality wood is dried to 8% in vacuum kilns to avoid the slightest distortion and in any case it is only recommended for laying on floors without under-floor heating.
All the three varieties treated are artificially dried to ensure optimum finished result, avoiding defects like splitting or cracking.
